Reverie Nail Lacquer Mini Collection

*Press Samples*

Hi everyone! Today I have some new pretties from Reverie Nail Lacquer to share with you from their new mini collection. This mini set is a between seasons release of three delicious glittery jellies. These polishes were released on January 28, so you can hop right over and purchase them now in Reverie's shop!

Dragonet is a dark blue jelly filled with a variety of colorful glitters, flakes and shimmer. Formula on this one was fantastic! It is perfectly glitter dense and builds nicely to opacity in 3 thin coats. This polish is named after a beautiful ocean fish, and when I look at this polish, it is absolutely like staring down at colorful fish in a reef. It is fantastic!

Provence is a pale seafoam green jelly filled with a variety of colorful metallic glitters and flakes highlighted with gold, copper, and purple glitters. This one has a ton of glitter, so even though the jelly base is quite sheer, it builds up nicely to opacity in 3 thin coats. I recommend using 2 coats of a thicker topcoat to smooth this one out (I used KBShimmer's Clearly On Top). It is inspired by fields of lavender in Provence, France. I adore this mixture of colors, it is so gorgeous and soothing. Just staring at the bottle made me really happy, like something from a Monet.

Rosebud is a deep rose jelly base with an interesting mixture of red, orange, and fuchsia glitters accented with pastel glitters in colors like lavender, yellow, and mint. I found this one to be the most glitter dense of all, so I made sure not to load up my brush with too much glitter on each stroke. I used 2 coats here and you can see it built up nicely to opacity. This one I also recommend using 2 coats of a thicker topcoat to smooth it out. As strange as the color combo sounds, I really liked the addition of the pastel glitters here popping against the deep jewel tones of the polish. This would be a great Valentine's Day, and it would be something a bit different from a typical Valentine's polish.
