KBShimmer Fall 2015 Collection

*Press Samples*

Hi everyone! Today I have KBShimmer's Fall 2015 Collection to share with you! This collection contains a total of 12 new shades including 4 cremes, 1 holo, 1 shimmer, and 6 glitters in pretty fall hues. These polishes are perfect for the season and many of them will get good use throughout the year as well. The Fall 2015 Collection realeases on September 15 on the KBShimmer website.

Such a Vlad-Ass is a deep blood red creme with blue undertones. Formula was perfect to work with and I got full coverage in 2 easy coats. This is such a perfect fall vampy creme that doesn't pull brown like a lot of vampy reds do. It reminds me of cranberries!

Soul Deep is a blackened blurple creme. Again, impeccable creme formula with full coverage in 2 easy coats. This is so deep and dark and that makes me want to layer some glitters or flakies over it! It definitely doesn't look black in real life like some dark cremes, you can see the blurple shade clearly.

Breaking Blues is a deep periwinkle blue creme. Great formula, per usual, with full coverage in 2 easy coats. This is one of those temperamental periwinkles that leans more blue in some lights and more purpley in other lights, but just a stunning shade!

Teal It To My Heart is a gorgeous teal creme. Formula was easy peasy with perfect coverage in 2 coats. This is a deep, pigmented teal that still has a bit of brightness to it, so I will totally be wearing it year-round!

Fig-Get About It is a figgy purple linear holo. Formula was very nice to work with and I used 3 thin coats for full coverage, but I really think I could have stopped at 2. The brownish undertones to this purple make it a very apt purple for fall and very sophisticated.

Talk Querty To Me is a teal jelly packed with blue and gold microflake shimmer. Formula was very easy to work with and I used 3 thin coats for full coverage. This is a very mermaidy shimmer polish with all of the gold and blue flakes peeking through.

I Feel Gourd-geous is a champagne holo microglitter with flecks of copper microglitter. Opacity was really nice on this one for a microglitter and I only had to use 2 coats for full opacity. I feel like a lot of people are going to be wondering how this one compares to Sun and Games from the Summer 2015 collection since they are both gold microglitters, but I Feel Gourdgeous is definitely a softer, more champagne glitter vs the bright true gold glitter of Sun and Games. This one is definitely blinding in the sun!

Open Toad Shoes is a soft olive green crelly filled with navy, burgundy, and chartreuse glitters as well as a sprinkling of silver holo microglitter. Formula was a cinch to work with and it had great glitter load. I used 3 thin coats for full opacity. I feel like this polish is going to either be "love it or hate it" because it's sort of a strange color, but I absolutely adore it! The colors all work so well with the olive base and I just think it is a winner...definitely the most unique polish in this entire collection! I did see Christy mention somewhere that it was a surprise favorite from the collection when she previewed it at Cosmoprof.

Be Scareful is a white crelly filled with orange and black dots, shreds, and even a few stars! Formula was good to work with and I used 3 thin coats for full coverage. The stars came out of the bottle easily here and there on the nail with no fishing required (though I did sort of place them where I wanted them.) Because of the star glitters, I recommend using 2 coats of a thicker topcoat (like KBShimmer Clearly On Top) to smooth it out for a glassy finish. It also glows green in the dark, so it's the perfect polish to wear on Halloween!

Dark & Twisty is a black jelly filled with multicolored metallic glitters. Formula was super nice to work with and I got full coverage in 2 coats. This is such a fun polish with the rainbow of colors popping against the black base. Since my brain is in Halloween mode already (and perhaps because I've been watching waaaay too much Supernatural), this polish made me think of evil clowns!

I've Seen Sweater Days is a light teal-y blue crelly filled with cobalt, lime green holo, and silver glitters with just a touch of shimmer. Formula was excellent to work with and I used 3 thin coats for full coverage. Could there be a more perfect polish? I just want to swim in this one! *sigh* KBShimmer just knows their way around a crelly.

Carpe Denim is a navy blue jelly filled with multiple sizes of silver holographic glitters. Formula was nice and pigmented, so I used 2 coats for full coverage. This polish has a similar formula to Witch Way? and A Raisin to Live, which have been long-time favorites because of their glittery depth. Carpe Denim is just stunning and fits right in with those two!

KBShimmer products are available from their website as well as from Harlow & Co. (Canada) for international customers. Be sure to follow them on Facebook and Instagram for updates on new collections and to see swatches of all of their polishes.
